I'm Penny, also known as Aella. I live in England, close to Dover with its famous White Cliffs and the historic City of Canterbury.
I have a passion for history, particularly that of the Roman period and enjoy sharing my enthusiasm with anyone who'll listen! I also enjoy painting,poetry, playing the piano and being in touch with the many wonderful people that it has been my privilege to meet on the internet.

I'm married to John and have a son and a daughter, all grown and flown now, so I have plenty of time to pursue my interests. I an eight year old grandaughter and a grandson of seven years and a little grandaughter who is just four..the apples of my eye!
